This striking & newly refurbished venue nestles on the north bank of the Thames, adjacent to Blackfriars Station. The 600-seat Auditorium boasts a huge stage with easy street access & is equipped to cater for a wide range of events. Combined with breakout spaces, it can be booked exclusively & be branded if required. The two main function rooms have unparalleled views of the river. In addition, there are another six conference rooms with state-of-the-art equipment, which can hold up to 120 theatre-style. A full catering service is part of the package & a dedicated event manager will assist with every element of your event.

| Christmas 2006 at The Mermaid will be a spectacular array of imagination and festive cheer. From the moment you arrive, you will be surrounded by white Christmas trees, iceberg murals and icicle lights creating an imaginative sense of excitement. Curiosity will lead you up to the River Room with ice frosted windows overlooking the Thames. Dinner is served in the Blackfriars room which will be revealed as an elegant dining room with a canopy of white fabric and icicles of varying sizes in a multitude of glacial colours. The windows will be partially frosted and the columns adorned with fabric and glitter for a sparkling feel. Tables will be silver glitter sprinkled and as a contrast to the white frost the table centres will be elegant black birch wreathes intertwined with sparkle.
